MOVEMENT
At Major watches we have a great deal of experience in making watches based on the Swiss made 2824-2 movement by ETA.
This highly resilient and reliably accurate calibre sports 25 jewels, a beat rate of 28,000 beats per hour and a power reserve of around 40 hours.
Each movement is regulated after installation personally by Richard and it is checked in five positions after the watch has been pressure tested prior to shipping.

DATE WHEEL
A standard ETA Date Wheel cannot be used in a Left Handed watch. If it were fitted the dates would appear upside down.
To create this watch we have had to design our own date wheel in which the numerals are inverted. Theoretically this is not too difficult. However in practise, due to the very high degree of accuracy required in printing, it is a very challenging thing to do.

Due to our thorough testing we do not receive much warranty work but it’s good to know that should anything go wrong your watch is covered by a two year warranty. All warranty work is personally overseen by Richard.
